Thanks to an excellent management team, Euro Apex Limited (parent company of Apex People) has been operating as a successful recruitment agency for over six years and now has an annual turnover of over £0.5m.
Our Operations Manager was formerly responsible for recruitment, training and quality of all the call centre staff for a FTSE 250 company. Our development manager also has extensive experience in terms of recruitment, payroll and HR for a 600 seat call centre.
We understand that every campaign is unique and requires different skills sets in the advisors. As such, we can be totally flexible and will tailor the recruitment and selection process to the individual needs of our client’s.
Recruitment process in detail…
- All candidates CV’s are thoroughly vetted by our team
- The most appropriate candidates are called back for interview
- If successful, we then call back for a second interview
- Candidates complete application forms, including criminal record declaration and consent to full credit check
- We request two employer references for each successful candidate plus we perform a full credit check
- If requested, we can obtain CRB checks (additional charges will apply)
- Apex People will manage all payroll services and issues including contracts, PAYE, holidays, absence and any disciplinary procedures
Training
All our call centre advisors undergo a rigorous training programme which is tailored to the client’s requirements. Training includes:-
- Issue of company handbook and full health and safety training
- Classroom training including scripting
- Role plays
- One-to-one’s with Team Managers
- 'Buddying' until the advisor is ready to take live calls on their own
Our experienced Team Manager’s monitor calls on a daily basis and ensure that further training is provided, where necessary, to ensure the perfect balance is maintained in terms of efficiency and customer service. Our Team Managers will also provide regular MI reports detailing staff performance.
